WARNING WARNING do not enter do not eat here. We was there two weeks ago my mom got sick from eating there. Garbage was more appetizing.

Delicious boiled seafood. I had the TRIO. Super friendly staff.

In town for work. Locals said 1921 has best oysters around. They weren’t kidding. Biggest oysters I’ve ever seen. Ordered the trash basket grilled. Soft shell, shrimp, oysters and catfish. Enjoyed it immensely. My wife had the red snapper fillet with sweet potato fries. The food was delicious. A little on the pricey side. We enjoyed the atmosphere and meal

If you are looking to enjoy some great southern seafood, this is the place! Everything from the Boiled crawfish to the fried crab cakes to the raw oysters are served to perfection. Always friendly and great hospitality!

Quirky shack decor with friendly staff and great food. Oysters were huge and flavorful while the crawfish were available in a 2 pound or 4 pound portion.

My order of boiled shrimp were the worst experience I've ever had when half of the order were old and mushy and when waitress was notified she pretty much acted as it was just my loss and didn't even try and make it good.Never again.I've seen the owners response to this now and now I'm positively sure I will keep away from these people because I was brought NOTHING you heard that NOTHING.So either the owner is a liar or the waitress that was told to bring me another order is a thief.

It looked ok, but I waited at the ordering area for awhile and no one ever came to take my order!!

Great service and better food! Blackened Mahi was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Cant remember the name of the soup. It had corn, crab and some other things but it is AMAZING!!

We had the boiled platter with crawfish shrimp and snow crab. They were spicy but I really don't like spicy food.

The food is really good. The boiled seafood is better than I can do at home. It really is the favorite of the locals too.

We visit Houma about once a month, and this is by far my favorite place for Seafood. You will not be disappointed. I've had just about everything on the menu, minus fried catfish. If you're hungry, the Pot is the way to go. It has all the favorites from Shrimp to more shrimp, crab, and catfish. The boiled goodness of the Gulf are my personal favorite aside from local Crawfish of course. The boiled selection is always my go to. From the shrimp to crab, you will be stuffed. It's always the perfect seasoning for me, and the hubs that doesn't like spicy like me. We have a great happy medium here. They never overcook it, and always tasty. We love their hand battered fried red onion rings! Those are a must have, or a big bowl of Seafood Gumbo. No matter what you get, don't forget the fresh shucked oysters! Seriously, this is a must if you want the best in town.

6 hours from my house in Arkansas and we go several times a year. In season the blue crabs are incredible. Can't say enough good things aboutthe service, especially with Nicole or Peggy as waitresses. Love this place!!

Crawfish were great. EVERYTHING else sucked! The fried food was TERRIBLE! It tasted like it was fried earlier in the night and just reheated. I got the "trash bucket" seafood platter. DEFINITELY not worth the $25.00 price tag! And to top it off my soft shelled crab was spoiled! Definitely would not recommend. Also the waitress was inattentive

Oh my goodness!!! Absolutely amazing! Perfectly seasoned, great portions, fantastic service!! The crab stuffed jalapenos are the best I've ever had! The Dungeness clusters were on point, the sauces were phenomenal! Do not miss this place!!

The charbroiled oysters are the BEST I've had. The boiled shrimp, crab, and mushrooms were great. And the After The Boil Soup was different was really good as well! Great atmosphere, and great staff!

Unfortunately, I was not pleased at all. I literally stay two minutes away from the restaurant. I ordered half a dozen boiled crabs and a pound of boiled shrimp. They stated it would be ready within ten minutes. I get there within that time and then drove right back home. As soon as I opened the bag, there was no steam or any sign that the crabs were even somewhat warm even upon touching them. I called the restaurant to see if they normally give boiled seafood that’s cold. The person at restaurant stated they don’t so I stated I would like a refund because I didn’t pay for cold boiled seafood. The lady basically said I couldn’t get a refund and there was nothing that could be done. I am from Louisiana so I was not pleased at all by this Cold boiled seafood. Would not recommend this spot at all.

Food was fantastic, service was phenomenal. And it's nice when the owners greet you and make sure you are well taken care of.I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO CHOSE 1921 FOR DINNER

The food truly is amazing..Good food isnt fast, fast food isnt good.This is no place to go to if you're in a rush. You've got to take ur time.Waiting time to get tables isnt that bad compared to other restaurants in its category,While seated, relax, look around you and see whats on others table, cos that is what will come, but you've got to be patient.It was an amazing and soulful seafood experience.. the staffs were great.It was a 5star experience, I had to rate it 4 cos despite the good food and the large quantities of the seafood. The sides weren't that much. Just a few potatoes and onion tossed i . I would sacrifice some of the crawfish for more potatoes(I need a distraction while getting my hands dirty breaking the shells.. Other than that. It was amazing.Oh. $70 bill for my dinner. Totally worthy, but I'm glad I'm out of town, otherwise, I'll be broke cos I'd want to have it every day...

Personally wouldn’t recommend anybody here. From the looks of the place and decour, I would’ve expected much better. The menu is very limited and extremely over priced for the servings you get. Ordered a 1/2 platter which is priced about 12/14 dollars. I got three SMALL catfish fillets & three shrimp with a huge pile of sweet potato fries. I love fries but if I’m ordering a seafood platter, I expect seafood. They should call it a frozen sweet potato platter. Plenty of places around town that have higher quality and tasting food for much better prices. If you’re visiting from out of town, keep looking.

The boiled seafood here is always good. Their chargrilled oysters are second to none they are by far the best i have had. Their bread pudding is also worth a shot, it is one of the best i have ever had.

Only place I like to go for crawfish. I've tried others and they just dont have the flavor. The crawfish here are spicy but also have a flavor.

I was just told this was the best best boiled seafood in town. They have Dungeness crab on special, so I may have to try that... Anyway I purchased the Mahi Mahi and some calamari. I purchaes the exrra sausage link instead of potatoes. The smell of raw seafood is all over this place. I enjoyed the stay
